Sox & Martin, and the Dodge Gang! Boy, you guys are bringing back some memories. I was still a kid, but Ronnie came to the local 8th mile track right beside where I lived and ran several times. Ronnie, Lee Shepherd, Frank Iaconio (sp?), Grumpy, Bob Glidden, and more. I grew up on those guys, and hooked ever since!

well you named three of them in your post , forget the exact dates , will have ta look them up , but from 1979 until sometime not long before Lee Sheperd was killed , the Gang of Four dominated Pro Stock .. During that time , Lee Sheperd , Bob Glidden , Frank Iaconio and Warren Johnson were the only winners and runners up in every PS race on the schedule

Yeah, I know. You're right! Good call. I pulled for the Chevy boys mostly, and typically Lee and Frank when they were driving Camaros. Those were the days! I love the smell of nitro, but Pro Stock was always my favorite class.

Anybody get any riding in today? Rode for a little bit, but hope to get more in tomorrow! Great to ride just in sleeves!

back then I was Lee Sheperd all the way , hated Glidden cause he was inna Ford , now I bleed Blue ..
PS is always fun to watch , cause they always run strait and hard and its bumper to bumper start to finish .. I mean when a sixteen car field is less than .005 between the pole and the bubble ya know its gonna be good ..

Rode today for a while, got a little sunburn on the face, and ate at a great little dive. Windy as all heck though, so made it a little rough several times. One gust literally stood me up while I was leaned into a on-ramp! WOW!!! Got my attention, that's for sure!
