Default looking at a trailer

im sure its on here a bunch of times im looking at getting a trailer

enclosed
double axle
all the standard stuff including quality bike chocks

what id like is if anyone with a 7 x 12 trailer could share pics of bikes in trailer and o pics of just the mounts staggered
i have 2 street glides we will be carriyng

Been wondering same, and posted a thread about it recently. A neighbor just had a bike delivered three days ago from a dealer.

They delivered in an 8” wide enclosed.

ya i think 8 is likely perfect , cost wise hoping 7 ft with offset mounts will work

I couldn’t find any pictures but I’ve hauled my Ultra-Limited and my wife’s Heritage Classic on my 6’4” x 12’ trailer (not enclosed) and didn’t need to stagger them. I would think two Street Glides could easily fit side by side in a 7’ wide enclosed trailer. The widest part will be the handlebars which shouldn’t be more than 36” wide.

For chocks I use the Condor Pit Stop chocks with the adapter plates that bolt to the trailer floor. They’re easily removable with just a thumbscrew. In our toy hauler I use the Condor trailer-only chocks with the floor brackets. If I had to do it again I’d probably install E-Tracks on my open trailer and use the Condor E-track adapters.

The toy hauler already had tie-down rings but for the open utility trailer I installed recessed tie-down rings in the wood floor.

This is how I have my 7' X 14' trailer set up. Fully adjustable on both sides and can even center a single bike up if I'm only hauling one at a time.

I think a 12' would work with less staggering.

My Ultra-Limited is just about 8.5' total length and easily fits on my 12' trailer with room to spare, even with the 2' dovetail.

My previous trailer was a 5x10 tilt trailer and I could haul the Ultra-Limited by itself or two Indian Scouts (just under 8' total length) staggered by about a foot and still had plenty of room behind the bikes.

As long as it's a square nose trailer and not a rounded or V-shape nose I can't see why two SG's wouldn't fit in a 12' trailer, even if their staggered. I admit though that I've had multiple open trailers but no enclosed trailers so even though the math works, maybe there's something I'm missing.

7X12 photo

would want to use two good quality chocks if you gave it a try but im afraid it would be really tight!!
