Default Vance & Hines FuelPak 3 Updates!!!!!!!

Just wanted to let those who are using the FP3 on their Street Rod they just updated the firmware to include both idle and redline RPM adjustments.

I personally lowered the fully warm idle RPM to 1050 (last 2 cells) and raised the redline to 9500. I should be able to ride today to test this out if it warms enough.

It varies but I like higher RPM's. I am usually 4K and up. This motor like to rev. I have hit the rev limiter a few times and I hated the 1350-1400RPM idle.

I’m the same. I don’t know anyone locally who has one so I don’t have any comparison. I’ve found that it really comes to life in the 4-5k range. My road king on the other hand preferred around 3500

The idle adjustment feature worked great. 1100RPM seems like the sweet spot. The redline......not so much. No matter what I did the bike would not rev past 6500RPM. Made a few adjustments in the app. I even flashed in an old tune and then reflashed the modded CSR tune I had been running with great results. It's stuck at 6500RPM. The app is showing 9500RPM as the set redline. I have an email into the V&H's CSR rep. We'll sort this out.

I went with this:
-16-20=1500RPM
32=1400RPM
48=1300RPM
64 & 80=1100RPM

1100 seemed like the sweet spot.

V&H's is working on my tune as I type this to see if they can find the rev limiter error.

Did you adjust the rev limiter? I just went to 9500 but again there was a snafu and the bike won't rev past 6500 or so.

I just adjusted my idle values to match yours. I have not fooled with the redline but mine is showing it is set at 12000 rpm with the canned tune.

When did you load in the canned tune with the 12000RPM rev limit?? Before or after the firmware update?
