Default Bike runs for 30 to 40 seconds and then shuts off

Hey guys

I have a 2017 HD xg750a streetrod. It was paked for a bit and when I went to start the bike it just clicked clicked like the battery was flat.

Took the battery out and fully charged it and put it back on the bike ( accessories connected ) and it started up and ran for 20 to 30 seconds and shutoff

Thinking it was a bad batyery i went and picked up a new one today. Put it in ...bike fired right up... ran for 20 to 40 seonds and shut off

Noticed the check engine light was on so i brought up the codes

ECM Y
SPEDO N

P2300 - problem with the primary or secondary control circuit in ignition coil A

P2303 - primary circuit has failed and most likely will result in a no start or stall of the engine since this is a second coil in a two coil engine.

P0691 - powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an inappropriate level of voltage in the electric cooling fan's control circuit.

Cleared the codes and the bike does the same thing as mentioned above?

Any help ?

Check and clean any connections. Pull plugs engine cold clean install. Check plug wires try again. You maybe looking at bad coils

Would a bad connection at the rectifier cause the same issue? I had some led underglow installed on the bike and two of the strips were in the rad cover.. Not wanting to take the cover off and pulled on the strips till they broke free. Wondering if by pulling on them it loosened or disconnected a connector at the rectifier

Strips removed marked in red on photo

This may sound silly. But pull the main fuse let bike sit a minute and try again.

Sounds like a fuel check valve issue.
If it was carbed, I'd say the float was sticking.

Nope ... ran fine before it was parked. Low voltage on the battery so i took it out and charged it. Put the battery back in and like i mentioned in the post, the bike would fire up and run fine for about 30 - 40 seconds and then just stall out an quit. If I hold the throttle open it tries to stay running but sounds starved for power and then dies

I know, that's why I said "IF" it was carbed.
Fuel pump, collapsing hose or clogged pick-up screen?
Ethanol wreaks havoc on rubber, breaks the hose down inside and you can't see it.
Decina grates inside and clogs small passages.

I would agree fuel was an issue. However the codes he is getting point to an issue with spark.

The Street engine is a different animal in the zoo.
