So, I've got the mascot, now what the heck do I do with it? Who wants it? I'm NW of Atlanta. I was lucky enough to be able to meet my girl Flysby and her man Harry in Blairsville at the Copperhead Lodge for an overnight and a day of riding. We had a great time and a mini QOTR reunion 😄. Rode part of the Moonshiner, Warwoman Road, and on the way home I hit Scaly Mountain and a few other twisty roads! (One that ended in gravel, oops!)

 

Hey girl! I was just going to send you a text to see if anyone helped you out with the mascot but I'm glad I checked in here first. You might have yelled at me for saddling you with this mascot since no one had stood up to help. You have a couple choices. 1.) Ask any of the qotr if they want to move the mascot. You know yourself our queens are very helpful and usually eager to move the mascot 2.) Look on the map (mascot stickies show people in your area looking to move the mascot around) and send a few people pms. I am going someone speaks up and sees that you need to move the mascot. If I don't see anyone helping you soon I'll see what I can do to help you out.

I just received your PM, Dawn and yes I will lend a hand to Allison to get the Mascot on the move again.

Looking at this map around Atlanta I see several members who showed their interest to participate in the Mascot's travels.

Allison, If you let me know what day(s) of the week you're able to travel plus the max distance you're willing to ride to do a hand-over, we can make a plan and start to send out some PMs to the members in your area.

In order to keep the Mascot on the road during the colder season, IMO best option is to look into a route heading South towards Florida and from there West along the Gulf coast.

 

I knew I could count on your Rene' thank you so much! !

 

If it ever makes it back towards Illinois I'll take it again.

 

The plan is to let it travel further South and West during the colder months, T.!

Once we've received some feedback I'll start making a travel plan like we did in 2012 (2012 Mascot's travel plan; updates per 12/18/2012)

 

Hopefully some folks from S GA or N FL can get it and bring it down south. Maybe we can get it all the way to Key West this year. The KW poker run is mid Sept - I am not going but perhaps some of the Crew are. Anyway once it gets to Lake Okeechobee I can get to it and see what we can do.

 

I might could pick it up in the middle of the Southeast such as West Alabama or Mississippi and take it to Texas.
