Code P0113
2014 Street Bob, FXDB 103ci steaming eagle air intake and Waylon Gatling pipes. Bike has been throwing the above code. Not steady but intermittently. Comes and goes. I clear and it returns. I know it means IAT sensor voltage open/high efi. I have read that before replacing the sensor that I should attempt to clean it? I have searched high and low for location of sensor on the internet. I believe it is located in the throttle body. Some places said to simply remove air intake and spray with carb cleaner to clean it off. Is what I have read true as to location and cleaning? Could something else be throwing the code? Tia.

the sensor is a variable resistor, changes with temp, unless it is coked (do not think so) cleaning will not help. check simple stuff like wire/connections. the sensor can be checked with a vom and a small pot of water on low fire, the resistance will change.

The code means there is a problem in the circuit. Those sensors are pretty robust. Check wiring connections, check for breaks in the wire at the connector (insulation will feel soft).
If you unplugged anything, look inside and make sure the pins and sockets are not damaged.
