RE: dyno tune...yes or no???
Once the motor is broken in Iwould recommend a dyno tune. I have the same motor upgrades in my '05 FLHTI. Ran several canned PCIII maps, then one I got from a forum member. The bike ran really good. Then I had it dyno tuned by Konrad @ TNT in Nashville. Wow, what a difference! While the hp/tq numbers only went up by 5 or so, the seat-of-the-pants difference was night and day. The bike was running rich with the map I was using before the tune. Now, throttle response is alot crisper and it flat out flies, especially over 3,000 rpm. MPG went up alot!
Every bike is different and a canned map will get you close. If you want it to run as good as it possibly can get it tuned.

RE: dyno tune...yes or no???
I have 08 Ultra and last nite nite had it dyno'd using direct link. put Vance & Hines dresser duals with Screamin Eagle tour slip ons (wish I'd never bought those) and Screamin Eagle hi Flow breather...base run produced 62.1 HP and 87 ft/lbs torque tweaked it to 71.3 HP and 98 ft/lbs torque, coulda got more HP with better slip-ons the Screamin Chicken tubes suck, but I'd already bought em months ago. Less vibration, MUCH less heat, MUCH better fly by wire throttle response, can't wait to get it out and go thru some serious power band stuff...DO IT
