Got her fixed up thanks to you guys thanks for all the help this saved me tons of the green stuff. Got cocky and took her on a 75 mile trip 2 up she ran great!

As for the zip tie, I just take one long one, loop it around one end of the wire, cross the two ends, loop it around the other side of the connector around the wire, and bring one side back through the X, then slip the other side of the tie through that one. Easy peasy connector no move.
