ECM and TSSM Questions
Hi All,
This is for the Digital Tech's:
If you buy a used ECM should you buy the TSSM module with it as a pair as long as it comes off the same bike and all part numbers match the ones you're replacing?
AND if you do so, and put them on your bike, do you risk it causing problems? Should the bike you're putting them on be able to read them and marry them correctly?
ONE MORE - if it does risk causing problems, does anyone have a round about idea on how much it costs to "Marry" and new/used ECM to your existing TSSM?
I just don't want to fry anything.
This is for a 2006 HD Electra-glide FLTCHI
The ECM came off of a 2006 Street Glide - but all part numbers match.
Thank you in advance,
Scott E. Dawg

Ok -so apparently you DO HAVE TO MARRY the ECM to the TSM or the bike just starts and then dies. Here's what I did and it works !!!
Follow the directions to a "T" and the bike will crank and start. Thank you all who helped me find this and provided the documentation. I hope this
helps someone else.
