Hey Guys. By looking at this internal picture of my fork lock, how do u know if it’s aligned so that I can reinstall the lock properly.

A little help on what exactly you are referring too. Like model and year would be tremendous!

 

long flat screwdriver is your hero. I don't even bother trying to keep it lined up when I remove it anymore. I just slide the screwdriver in and line it up before I reinstall.

its so much easier using one of those $10 alignment tools. pull the switch...insert the tool then you can turn it to all positions and not worry about aligning it again. i have had to use it on 2 riding buddies bikes. they each have one now.

 

Thanks! I actually bought one of those wired cameras for my iPhone and that made it way easy.

lined up with the big screwdriver and jiggled it a bit (the effing lock…not what you thought) and it popped right into place.
