07 flh....at times the engine light comes on.... only in 6th gear...when it does all i have to do is give it some gas or back of a bit and the light goes off.

so i believe that it was a historic code..so i cleared it....then across the odometer..i read "pn 34455-076...hmmmm...take it for a good ride ran great and check it again..it tells me there are no codes....which is a good thing but...there it is again "pn 34455-076" thinkin pn= part number i get in h/d s web site and type it in....no such part !!

any ideas?

the p/n you are seeing in the odo screen is simply the OE part number for your speedo 34455-07B (which has nothing to do w/ the historic code). If the engine light comes on and goes off, you're correct...it's historic and it should be there for you to retrieve. Are you sure your checking the codes correctly? The run/stop switch must be set to run. Hold the trip button in and turn the ign switch to on and it should read "DIAG". Scroll through each of the modes to check for the codes...pay attention when in "P"owertrain menu as that's likely where the code is residing. Otherwise you should still be under warranty and the dealer should at least be able to tell you what the code isat no cost to you.
