The 2009/2010-up bikes with a cat run noticeably richer than 14.6 most of the time with the stock cal, the cat allows Harley to get away with it and still pass emissions.

Many of the later stock calibrations using Lambda run about .989 or 14.52 AFR if using a CLB of about 764.

But if .08 is considered noticeably richer, then so be it.

Ok question guys...I have been helped out a LOT in the Touring forums by 05nighttrain but don't want to burn him out with questions lol

I'm about to setup a new "tuning" cal and want to use CTC044 vs the CTC009. On the 009 I could raise all the values in the columns I wanted to to the max and then back down until I got to .977 or .981. In the 044 there are a few columns that don't jive with other columns even when you max them out. So when I back down to .977 those columns are a bit lower (as they didn't go as high to begin with)

Is this a problem for the tuning cal?

Hope I'm asking this right...

Bike is my 11 RK...

you can richen it up a bit but it is still going to feel hot. Number 1 way to cool the ultra down is to remove the lowers.

I was looking at a fullsac system for the future and they claim it will cool down engine by 17%

I wouldn't bet on that number. Could be less or more but I've never heard Steve say there was a guaranteed % of any kind.

Which "system" are you looking at? His stage 1 or 2 for the 103?

The TTS system by itself will not do much...consider replacing the stock header pipe (with cat) with a Fullsac x-pipe (without cat).

While this is somewhat more expensive then just cutting out the cat, the header fits perfectly and has a stepdown with the O2 sensor ports in the correct place. The x-pipe uses the stock exhaust shields and will look original when done. The exhaust ports are tappered so the stock HD exhaust port gaskets work fine.

NOTE: you'll most likely will have some pronounced decel pop so be ready with the TTS to help with that issue.

DISCLAIMER: I have no association with Fullsac or TTS...just personal knowledge of both products.

Good luck!

Something to remember now... Fullsac is shipping their head pipes with the old and new 02 sensor bungs. They do not furnish the plug for the ones not used. You will need to buy your own.
