You are looking at identical Blue dongles. Unless you get some form of discount from Kuryakyn then they are a buck more than factory list.

Keep looking. You can find them for less. Average is about 400. Site sponsors sell them as well. You will need a cable kit though. Your 08 Train will take the 4 pin cable kit.

Default data display

I have a question.

I'm very impressed with Fight Recorder , reasonably easy to fill a lot of the histogram cells when vtuning because of the volume of data able to be collected.
For working on a particular area of the histogram I guess you can still set up a recording session with a tablet as monitor ,in Datamaster and select 'record vtune data' as before.

Is it possible to use the tablet as a monitor for intermittent display only ,of the data being recorded in FR mode without upsetting the FR recording or settings?

Thanks

To my knowledge, when you plug a computer in to watch data as it's being recorded, the FR is bypassed. So in other words it's one or the other, not both for vtuning.

I figured the only way to get the data onto the screen was to record it in Datamaster.

Thanks

I finally got around to playing with the Flight Recorder yesterday and although it does exactly what it states it does, I'm just a visual person. Nothing more aggravating to me than spending 30, 45, 60 minutes riding around thinking you're hitting the cells you want to hit only to get home and realize you haven't. I want to see the cells I'm hitting as I'm hitting them. Going for some vtunes today with my Motion CL910 mounted to left handlebar so I can watch.

wurk_truk.. I know Wiz is out of pocket today so wanted to see if you'd take a look at this for me. Both cylinders, front and rear in the same KPA/RPM range seem kinda high. Could this be a slipping clutch? Only reason I ask is it sure felt like it was slipping in that area.

Thanks

Default Communication Error

I am trying to set up FR for another run. FR sees the dongle and goes to the selection of VTune in the drop-down. Then it puts up a communication error message, Ensure the HD006 interface is connected to the PC and try again.

I repeated this several times and it is always the same. I did flash the ECM before this and worked fine.

Any ideas what is going on?
