Default higher than normal idle after hot soak?

sometimes when I ride a while, and bike is fully warmed up,I shut it off & let it sit for 15-20 mins. start back up and it idles high probally 1200-1400 rpms and takes a while to come back down.I keep my throttle body/Iac valve clean and always let bike idle a while before i shut it off it only does this when it heat soaks awhile. anyone else?

I can't speak to the fuelmoto specifically, but I had the same problem with a Tmax. I adjusted the initial fuel level on hot start-up, and it solved the problem. Maybe the FM has this ability? I'd check with DynoJet.

Sounds like you hit the magic temp when the sensors have cooled enough to throw the ecm into cold start mode. My stock ecm use to do that same thing but start normally, and in a few seconds rev up and stay there for a while until things got heat soaked again. My tmax don't behave this way once the iac home position was dropped some. Even then it was only a couple second high rev and then settled down.

If you can reproduce it then hook that PCV to a laptop and log some data. Particularly watch what the iac and warmup enrichment are doing. It may be that the iac is setting at a minimum position until the warmup enrichment drops enough for the ecm to actually control the idle speed using the iac.
