Default Passing Lamp Mystery

My passing lamp blew the other day, or just went out. I has a spare already, so I replaced the entire lamp, but it still did not work. Possible the spare is bad, but I recently had the fender light from the old Springer Heritage installed on my Deluxe, and it works great, but that's when I noticed the left passing bulb was out. Any hints on if they are related? All the other turn signal and headlight lamps are working fine. Thanks for any ideas.

Ted, you might consider using a volt meter and backwards trace to your problem.

you could also pull the bulb and hook it up to a 12v power supply.

Check you fuse for it first. Sounds like some sort of short with the addition of the fender light.

Thanks again, all. Found the problem; loose wire. Got it all working now, and new fender light on the Deluxe looks great. Thanks again.

You bet, as soon as I wash and wax this weekend, pix of the newly built ride will be forthcoming.
