Hey all. I have a netbook with windows7 and I cant get the TTS software to load, is it window7 compatible? Or can I download it offline somewhere?

According to the TTS website you should be good to go.
I would call TTS if you have the disk and the software won't load onto your computer. Must be a setting somewhere preventing it.

 

The TTS software works great with Win7. What is the exact error message you are getting? How did you get the install CD onto the netbook?

Which version of windoze 7? I have a ACER 1810T netbook with windoze 7 home premium and TTS installed and worked fine (used a usb CD drive). Not sure about windoze starter, however. I tried to contact TTS but did not get an answer, but it got overtaken by events as the netbook had the more featured windoze 7..

 

Be sure you have Admin rights or be sure to select " Run as Admisitrator" if not that, check you antivirus settings. You need to be a little more specifid on what your doing and what errors or msgs your getting when trying to install.

 

Try installing just the TTS Updater program from the CD. Run it and have it install all the latest TTS programs and files.

 

Not sure if this will help, but widows 7 needs a new driver. I found this from a different site.

Look on the right side of the page under "Comments" and find where it says "setup executable" and "click" on it.

 

Not having the driver would not cause the software to fail installation. It just won't connect to the bike. (don't ask me how I know that) If you follow all the directions, one of the first things you are suppose to do is load the USB driver. The load driver install should pull down the right driver.

 

Got it figured out, was trying to load it from a thumbdrive. I used a external cd drive and loaded it.
