I just added the PV3 to my Stage 1 '07.
It was a bit cumbersome to finagle the software, but after throwing a few curse words at the computer, I was able to load the stock map, marry the device to the ECU, and then add the downloaded stage 1 tune.
It definitely runs much better than w/o it. Smoother shifts under load w/ no 'throttle lag', smoother idle, and the rear exhaust temp has been tamed down quite a bit too.
PV3 comes w/ an autotune function and there was no need (at least for me) to go to wide band O2 sensors.
I've only got about 100 miles on it, but I'm happy.

Any tips for auto tuning in first gear from 1750 to 3500rpm. Really hard to hit those rpms in first gear I got them red but was very difficult with lots of engine breaking and acceleration in those rpm’s
I got rid of the sputtering once I got them red but feels like it could pull harder only in that rpm range.
everywhere else feels fine

Ok. Im missing something I'm sure. But with a 2 year old head butting me and toy story blasting on the TV. I cant focus and am getting frustrated.
fuel moto sent me a stage 2 tune. I have that tune saved to my desktop.
i downloaded the powervision software. I can open it, and then open my tune into the software…great.
i connect my PV3 to my laptop via the usb cable and a window opens showing the contents. Cool i guess. Seems to be working…
the powervision software does not talk to my PV3 when i connect it to the computer. It says an update is required and that my file needs to be updated. My PV3 is updated to the latest, and the software i installed on my computer is the latest.
why wont the software acknowledge my PV3 when the USB is plugged in?

The solution on my end was to simply use a different USB port on my PC.
I hope your issue is that simple.

i am thinking the file itself is not correct from Fuel Moto.
this is what i am getting:
My PV3 is attached while this photo was taken 15 seconds ago..
#9527
That suggests to me that the file they provided is not correct for the PV3.

thats the conclusion i am coming to as well.
but who wont the PV software even acknowledge the PV3 when its plugged in and boots up?
i cant even extract tunes from the PV3 to the PV software.

I literally just got a new tune directly from DynoJet 3 days ago, and it was an easy process.
Does your PV3 have the .stk file on it?
Without that file, it won’t work.

i believe i need a stage 2 .djt file from fuel moto.
