Throttle problem.
I have a 2009 Ultra (electronic throttle). I started out on a ride yesterday and had travelled about 2 miles when the throttle was unresponsive above an indicated 2000 rpms. The engine acted as though is was running on one cyllinder. I limped it back to the house at a whopping 22mph, but it got me home. I started trouble shooting at the house by removing what I thought could be a possible cause (PC-V) but that had no affect on the problem. I then went inside aand called a lifeline for a possible cause. After waiting about 30 minutes I started the bike and it ran normally. I got a friend to follow me for a testdrive and I went about 8 miles and the problem never raised it's ugly head. Has anyone experience this problem and what was the solution?

Had the same thing occur about 100 miles from home, on startup. I shut it down, restarted, and it ran fine except for the engine light coming back on for a few seconds. The stealer where I bought it said 4 hours to tear the entire throttle apart, basically replace it, another fixed it in probably 15 minutes on the computer and replacing the throttle sensor. My extended warranty took care of it.
