Default Magneti Marelli fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose

Is there supposed to be a hose hooked up to the regulator on a MM system? Mine doesnt and the hose barb on the throttle body is capped. By having it this way it would be running a constant 50 psi correct? Not having the hose hooked up wont allow it to kick back to 30 psi right? I know the previous owner installed high flow injectors and may have flowed the throttle body( havent confirmed it yet) so maybe he pulled it.

nevermind...answered my own question. The hose barb on the throttle body is a EVAP port for CA models and the port on the regulator is for atmospheric pressure. I may have to stop believing my local mechanic. EFI might not be his thing.
