Default Del Mar S2 review

This is the first review I've seen on the new Del Mar S2.

Guy seems to absolutely love it, until he runs into the range/recharge limitations. He sounds like a total fanboy through the ride review, then turns more to a realist during the recap/end.

No corners or hills.. Not really a test ride IMO.

Apparently, it doesn't have enough range to reach any place with corners and hills.

This is a nice bike when you see it up front. Too bad my dealer Sac Harley sucks. The parts dept is their redeeming point. Would like to take one for a test ride. But overall how this bike is built. It's a city type bike.

It's a super fun bike to ride, but not meant to go beyond 60-70 mile range. I've done some extensive testing on it, and will have my review soon once I hit around 3-4k miles (currently at 2900)

Default The LiveWire S2 Del

I just got an email. that there is a recall on the LiveWire. The LiveWire S2 Del Mar recall affects 523 units, all manufactured between July 2023 and January 2024. The faulty Vehicle Supervisory Control module can cause a sudden shutdown in certain conditions, risking accidents. LiveWire allows for a software update over-the-air to fix the issue.

Hey Mike! It has improved on the Del Mar, dramatically. Still not perfect, every now and then I have to reboot phone and bike for it to work, but that works everytime I do it, so not frustrating, just a hiccup now and then. I would call LiveWire and let them know - or email Josh. LiveWire is super responsive, which is why I love working with them. They’re working on some really awesome stuff that NO ONE has at the moment, at least as a stock option.
