Looking for N. central Oreg. riders
Are there any riders in the North Central Or. area, Hermiston,Pendleton,Tri-cities area out there? Looking for someone interested in day rides, or local area rally runs. A few others in the area may join in. I ride a 99 King. We ride to enjoy the ride, not to get there fast. Meeting new people is always great. Hope to hear from a few.

From Lagrande It's 70 miles north on Hwy82. There's Wallowa Lake its 6mi long 1mi wide and 300 ft deep a natural lake the water is so clean you can see 30 ft deep. The little town of Josephis a western town turned into microbrews and esspressos sitting in a valley nestled at 4000 ft elevation between mtns that take you from the valley floor straight to 10,000 ft. There also is a 4 person gondola that lifts you to the top of the mountains. If you never been there, its a must stop. I see your in the army. My son just got back from Ft Bragg after 5 yrs he got out. We have great men in our service today. my other son is still in the AF.

Thanks for the info... I was actually in the Marines from 1980-1992 and went to the Desert back then. That phot was recently taken while on the Iraq/Syrian Border. I work for DHS and Customs and the military wanted border Officers from the state to work the Borders in Iraq with their Units. I was there in 2005...hence the 2005 Springer Softail... Military Vehicle Sales.

My boy was looking at military sales when he was in Iraq. He said Harley had a rep. there until the fighting started and he left right quick. So he bought a Ultra ground pounder when he got back. Then he went back to Afghan later. My youngest boy is training to be an ewo on a B-52, he's been in about 3 years and still owes uncle sam another 5 since he has his wings. If you happen to go to the rally and if you would like to meet along the way (if I go) holler at me at imschoney@yahoo.com. I ride a 99 Road King old police bike that I changed quitea bit.

Well we were fighting while I was there... I am sure Harley did not have any reps there when I was there either, but Military Vehicle Sales had reps at all the Major Bases in Iraq as well as other countries... I was not anywhere near a base, so I purchased mine via the internet and email. Great opportunity, I got my 2006 at MSRP and they through in Security, anda 5yr Warranty for no extra charge. The money I saved I put in Chrome approx $2300.00. The Dealer in the states where I picked it up said you just bought a $25000.00 bike for $19,000.00 (+ the $3k inlocal taxes). I had my wife pricing the same bike for me prior to my selection.
