Got to be looking ahead on these issues. My son has a small SUV turbo Ford. Had it about 6 months and it develop a obviously miss and a code that said so. Kept coming up cylinder 3. We tried switching the coil pack since he had not left it stock. Some type off blowoff valve and a open air filter.

Switching the pack did not help. So he got 4 plugs. Did not help, so he converted it back to stock an took it in.

After tinkering with it over a week, they concluded it was a load of bad gas and it was ready.

They presented him with sizeable bill including 4 plugs and installation. Told him since the gas issue was still questionable but that him putting in the wrong name brand plugs could have and would probably void his warranty with most dealerships.

Nice! I really love this color! I was worried when I first saw it that it would be too orange or too sparkly. Its netiher.

Congrats on your bike!

Thanks, is it orange or is it red? At the dealership and outside it's BRIGHT orange, In pictures and in my garage it looks red.
We both fell in love at first sight.

Harley tried to answer that question by stating in the warranty that nobody, no dealer or anybody else, has the ability to supersede what the printed warranty says. So yeah, I'd say your dealer was just plain wrong. Maybe well-intentioned, but wrong.

Just because they're SE parts, doesn't mean it will result in an EPA-legal state of operation, and Harley specifically says that if the bike is brought into a state where it's not in compliance with the law, that's a warranty-voiding event.
