Default Black Tempest Opinion

Hi and Merry Christmas to everyone, I’m going to purchase a 18 Street Glide in the next month or so and I was looking for opinions on the new Black Tempest colour. Has anyone seen this colour in person and what do you think of it, it’s about the only colour that the Standard comes in that I don’t mind. I appreciate your thoughts and comments.

color is in the eye of the beholder!!! If u like it go for it. You are the one who has to be pleased. That is the reason I think Harley's are great, many many ways to customize UR bike

Go to the dealer and have a look.

Anything else is irrelevant opinion with regards to colors.

I have the Fortune Silver over Tempest Black. I have to say I like it a lot better than the the '15 and '16 Silver over Vivid Black models I used to have. The metal flake is really nice in the sun.

I saw a tempest black triglide at the dealer & really liked the color. I was wondering how much that flake would help hide the dust & swirls. Had it not been winter here I'd had them pull it outside. If you get the tempest black post up your opinion on the dust factor. Thanks

I'd have to agree with Ramblin5. I have seen the silver fortune /black tempest on a road glide ultra and it looks pretty slick. Much nicer than previous years.

Tempest Black is really nice. Way better looking than a Vivid Black bike, IMO.

Definitely a better option than the old Vivid Black.

There a few of my post with photos, and I tried to take some to show the black, but it's really quite difficult. It works great on the 2 tones and seems to be more robust or at least better at hiding wear than my vivid black bikes. If your leaning that way already, I think you'll love it.
