Default Lots of exhaust

I got to listen to a lot of M8 exhaust at Daytona over this past week, all the big players had M8's set up at their vendor tents. I must say the D+D billet cat won over everything I heard, that thing is legit! It was the only one I listened to that made me say "oh s#!t" when rev'd hard. Only downside......I said the same thing when he gave me the price including the ghost pipe!

What price were you quoted, and black or chrome?

All of the S+S stuff sounded good, the new 2-1, mk45, and grand national's, the GN's had more of a traditional harley sound, kinda loud and raspy, the mk45 was pretty quite at idle but came alive with a very nice deep bark when rev'd. TAB was pretty good but not the best for my liking. The Vance and Hines stuff was pretty good as well, I wanted to hear their pro pipe on an M8 but they didn't have one, guy said they just installed one on a customer's bike earlier before I got there though. As you know, sound is very subjective so what I liked, you may think was crap but if the price was better I would have left with the D+D hands down.

Thanks Quik. I hope to make it out to some bike nights around here. I have spent some dough on cosmetics but performance parts are in the back of my mind. I will be buying them soon.

There was a rhinehart 4.5 inch muffler that sounded pretty good along with the v & h mufflers. The vendors have definitely geared up for the M8. Saw some scary stuff too, the magnaflow guy tried to sell my buddy a complete exhaust without any tuning adjustments of any kind!

Yeah a lot of the vendors seem very knowledgeable, some others, not so much.
