+1 After 5k - 15,800 miles so far same thing oil was pretty darn clean. Trans like new, engine oil cleaner than TC, primary about same color as TC.

But for the savings we get, that's fine with me.

Prob a better idea for the OP to change the fluids in Fall after a good days ride.....store for winter, ready to go in Spring.
I tried the 'synthetic' in all 3 holes....went back to Formula+ in the primary, it works very, very well- shifting and everything ran smoother. Also putting it back into the transmission on one bike so far.

agree, it simply works, ain't that expensive and available everywhere..keeps things simple...believe in pick one and stick with it instead of swapping fluids around hoping for a magic elixir

I did my own 1k service all was normal. sounds like yours was also the milkyness of oil is condensation . I would wait till 5k service to change out again but monitor engine and trans oil levels regularly. There is no way in hell I was going to pay $435 for what I can do myself. document everything and save receipts in case you have any warrenty issues. I used HD360 in engine and formula in trans and primary. I will be changing to Amsoil at 5k

with my 2012 FL I was hell bent on 'synthetic' everything when it was new.
After some warranty work where they pulled the primary years ago...when riding it home I was like wtf? it shifts like butter. It never did that before.
Well, found out they put F+ in it....
Since then I run it in the primary and have been using up a supply of gear lube in the transmission (of my 12), will swap that to F+ later this summer.
I run F+ in my 08 (tranny and primary)

Over here, if we touch em, unless a qualified mechanic, end of warranty.
All of the three new Harleys that I've replaced all fluids on never had any milky look to them. I do however replace all the fluids with redline and redlines tranny fluid looks like pepto bismol.
