Can you buy a 117 crate engine from Harley?
Anyone? It would be going into a 2017 SGS.

2018 HD catalog Book shows 107, 114 and 120ST......didn't see anything about a 117, are you thinking of another manufacturer, maybe ????

I was thinking of the 117 that is in the CVO.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what motor will fit in the place of the M8? It's my understanding that MOCO did some frame changing or mount changes and the aftermarket hasn't caught up yet. Is this correct?

I'm sure you can buy it, it has a part number and can be replaced so I assume you could buy one. I would call a dealer for a part number and/or price, and if I'm not mistaken Board Tracker online will sell it at a discount.
