Default Clutch Recall Poll

track observations/experiences on clutch behavior before and after recall..after I reported mine engaging sooner there have been comments stating the prescribed change from the recall shouldn't allow that if performed correctly so interested in hearing about results

edit: should have added change in freeplay as an option after the report of being very sloppy from member, but apparently won't allow me to edit the poll..anyway, there is no change in ours, tension and pressure is required immediately when pulling in lever, same as the day we bought them

well that was my first thought but I don't even see an edit option on my post anymore, let alone an option to delete the posts and I went thru the profile settings and options..so please feel free to share how to do this if you are aware of how to as I gave up

There really won't be any change in lever pressure.. The diameter of the slave piston did not change.

yeah, the one report here of the sloppy freeplay sounds like a fluid bleeding problem i guess....dropping my bike off today for its 30K..I'll ask them about the change in engagement...but I don't plan on saying..everything works and feels fantastic, better than before..but could you check it out because I read on the internet some guys are questioning if the procedure was done correctly because they don't believe it should have changed at all, especially for the better..LOL

edit: SW said the change could simply be bike to bike variation with the 'change' introduced, and is what it is..they performed the recall per instruction, bleed, checked clutch dial indicator, etc..I'm satisfied all is well and good

Had mine taken care of last week. Didn't notice any change in where it engages. Feels the same to me.

I'm wondering since my clutch feels "normal" should I bring it in the the update. You know, why fix whats not broken.
