oil pressure gauge

Not sure if you are joking etc. but all the touring bikes used to have oil pressure gauges. They went from an analog gauge to a display on the boom. It does seem like HD got rid of them (since they were already part of the system) because they knew the M8 had issues. Sad how they treat their customers.

Check out this guy on Ebay. This link is for a TC model, but I emailed him and he is putting together a kit for the M8's.

ALL HD “FULL” Touring bikes had oil pressure gauges or digital readouts through 2016. 2017 was the first model year (first year of the M8) to eliminate not just the gauge but any upgrade sensor that could provide a digital oil pressure reading.

When the first M8s were released back in August 2016, the MoCo was also releasing an update for the Boom Infotainment. As stated in this update, there would be a P&A accessory that would allow oil pressure in PSI to be displayed on the Boom screen. It still has not happened. Is this just an oversight by the MoCo, or is there a reason why owners should not be burdened with excessive info like oil pressure.
