Just for the record the new pumps were intended to cure sumping ! There is no evidence that any of them were 100% effective, which the plate and seal appear to be?

Be careful when ordering the oil pump, just to avoid delay.

Job went well. I used the YouTube video from FatHead Cycles where he installs a Zipper cam for a guide, as well as the factory service manual. The video was very thorough and sometimes it helps to watch something being done. You can stop the video at any point and perform the action up to that point making sure you get that step right, then move on from there.
The recipe I used is supposed to produce 117tq/108hp so I'll post real numbers after it comes off the dyno.

Yes this is the torque sequence and numbers that I used.I put 100 miles on the bike today, and everything worked great. I noticed a little oil weep from the front lifter cover, but Iintend to recheck all fastners once the bike cools down. I literally just walked in the house.The bike really pulls hard and I'm happy with the power so far.

Yes this is the torque sequence and numbers that I used.I put 100 miles on the bike today, and everything worked great. I noticed a little oil weep from the front lifter cover, but Iintend to recheck all fastners once the bike cools down. I literally just walked in the house.The bike really pulls hard and I'm happy with the power so far.

The bolts that hold the lifter cover down were just a little loose. I always try to go to the lower end of the given torque spec rather than the upper, using a good Snap-On torque wrench. The leak was definitely from the bottom of the lifter cover. I warmed the bike up and saw no more oil so I think I've got it.
