Thank you all for replying. That was what I thought, but I want ammo for when I go back to the dealer again. This is very helpful.

You shouldn’t need Ammo, if it doesn’t start under any condition. HAve them keep it over nite, then meet them in the AM to try to start it. If the battery is charged, it should start at any temperature that does not freeze the gas solid.

Have no issues with my 2017 FLHTCU Electra Glide Classic starting in cold weather. May want to make sure the dealer has put the most recent ECM update on your ride. Something is not right if it will not start, sounds like a warranty issue. Mine has started as cold as 25 degrees F with no issue.

If it is spinning like crazy, as you say, then your dealer is shooting you the grease. There is no way a new bike should not start up swiftly. Take it to another dealer.

They kept it for 2 weeks! It starts in their temp controlled garage. They refuse to leave it outside overnight, even with permission. It does start most of the time, just not late at night after work when I left it all day outside. It is intermittent, but I have video of it not starting. They can't duplicate it, but they keep it warm and tucked in. I'll keep at it. Waiting for it to not start again and I'll have them tow it.

I don't want to drive over an hour. They sold it to me, it's their job. Thanks!

I have a '17 CVO LTD. I have been riding all winter so far. coldest morning was 24 degrees, unheated garage. No issue at start up. Have not been on a tender yet this year, sometimes 4 or 5 days between starting.

My 17 rgs doesn't like the extreme cold at all. In low 20's to teens it slow cranks and will not start without cracking the throttle a bit. In low teens I've had 2 occurrences where it wouldn't start for 20+ minutes even with the throttle being cracked. I feel like my issue is tune related due to a canned map and cam swap but who knows. Battery is new
