Trying to decide on keeping stock pushrods or just avoid pulling oil lines and everything else associated with getting at the pushrods while changing out my camshaft. If I go with adjustable, S&S, Fuelmotto or SE ???
Any thoughts ???
Stick with the original. I installed the S&S adjustable pushrods and didn't like them. First, unless you get the collapsable pushrods you still have to take the pushrod base off then reinstall everything. I addition I did not like not knowing the lash was set perfectly. I adjusted them several times and ultimately got it right but it was a hassle. The final time I adjusted them I did take the tank off and the rocker arm covers and just slid them through the top. On my 2010 bagger, it wasn't that difficult to do. Just an FYI there are the adjustable AND the Quicky adjustable, if you are going to get one I would recommend the Quicky adjustable, those are easier to install.
