Agree! I had a similar low end dip on my FXR’s sheet, using a Bassani Road Rage pipe. Installing the “quiet” baffle introduced just enough restriction to smooth it out nicely. And the quiet baffle isn’t that quiet lol.

Since it's a Supertrap it should be able to be tuned by removing discs or changing to a closed end cap, one way or another you're probably end up with a quieter exhaust if you want to get rid of the dip.If you like the way it sounds now I would just leave it alone, with a fairly light bike you shouldn't feel that dip that much anyway.

Not all Supertrapp exhausts use the disc system. This one seems not to.

I vote for the D&D,I had a bassani on a 2017 street glide with SE stage 4 and it seemed to hold it back changed to a D&D and it ran better, i currently have a 2018 heritage (see sig) with a D&D and love it.

edit for sig not showing.

2018 Heritage Classic 114 (Vivid Black), stage 3 (now 117) SE tuner, SE smart tuner pro, D&D Fat cat straight back
Freedom dark grey tint 19 inch shield.
JES Custom Accents fork deflectors in black.

What about adding a Thunder Torque Insert to help with the dip? You may be able to get rid of it without buying a whole new exhaust.

good point, may be worth a try OP. Give DK Customs a call and they’ll help you pick the right one. Measure your exhaust for the call...

So I purchased the Bassani Road Rage the tuner said that they have seen good performance out of those. I will post up once I get it installed and get retuned on the Dyno.

Anyone want to buy my Supertrapp? LOL

Which Road Rage did you get? Be aware that this one is easy to scrape and touches down before my peg does. Not sure if the Fat Boy will be any different. Just something to think about.

The Road Rage in the top Picture sits much higher and most likely won't scrape in the corners.
