Default Cheap spark plug tool for Milwaukee 8

My 2 year plug change and a 17\" tywrap. Left the loop big enough to slip down the boot and an easy tug it pops right off. Only a one time use but 2 tywraps every 2 years is pretty cheap. And don't bother with the hd 6r10 plugs they're champion rg6 hcc right out of the hd box.

Thanks, sometimes those boots are tough to get off.

So do you slip the loop all the way over the boot, then tighten it a bit so that you're pulling from under the boot? Or just snug it down over the top of the boot and tug it that way?

Great idea, and the info on the plugs will probably save some greenbacks as well.

Under the boot, I used a thin screwdriver to push it down the boot on the inner plugs.

I prefer to use NGK over champion. Great idea with the zip ties. Don’t forget the dielectric grease too, makes it much easier next time removing that boot

Why NGK??
Do you not get any codes w/NGK?

Codes? Not sure I’m following you. I’ll put champion plugs in my lawn mower & weed eater, not my truck or bikes. I’ve seen more champion plugs fail than NGK.

Some time back, Harley's wouldn't run any other plug but a Champion specifically for
a Harley.
I never tried anything else since I didn't keep a bike long enough to have plugs replaced.
A few guys on here said their engines would throw codes because of the wrong resistance
of the 'other' plugs they were using.
I was just curious if this was still an issue.......................
