I have the Woods WM8-22X cam installed and have no dip in the torque curve. The torque curve is amazingly flat with 1-3/4 baffles.
On Woods website there is dyno comparison of the 22X and 22XE. The new 22XE gives up a little torque to the 22X below 2500 RPM. Above 2500 RPM the 22XE produces higher torque.
I just finished tuning 3 bikes last Friday that switched from the 22X to the 22XE and can verify these results as they repeated the 4-5 tq&hp improvements with just a couple tq loss below 2500 on all three bikes...2-114ci1- 1-107ci

What type of head-pipe were these combinations running? What is more important in exhaust selection head-pipe or mufflers?

Anyone got a video of this cam in a 114? Not having any luck finding one. Impressive gains on the 114 over stock though!

I am interested as well. I have ordered this cam for my 114 and the install is scheduled for July 6th. Before this cam was released, I was going to choose the TTS-175 but decided on the 22X-E due to the proven track record and repeatable results of the 22X. I have a TTS-100 in my twin cam, and it is a great cam, but not a lot of info or results on the TTS 175.

I had the S&S 475c in my 107. Loved the sound...aggressive lope. I'll sacrifice a few torque and hp for that sound again. But if the new wood sounds as good, that might be my choice when I'm ready to pull the trigger.

Sounds great! Would there be much difference with a 2 1 2 exhaust?

Question for Fuel Moto....

Any feedback on this cam installed in a 114 M8 Softail? I'd be interested to hear feedback for recommended 2 into 1 exhaust systems for an FXLRS for instance.

We haven't yet installed the WM8-22XE cam in a Softail, however based on all of the other combos we've used it in you could expected an additional 5-9Hp more horsepower & about the same peak torque as the standard 22X cam.
