Default Tune question

Tried to search but not seeing what I need. I am running FM head pipe, air cleaner and rineharts now. It’s tuned with power vision. For a upcoming long trip I want it to be quieter so I have a set of stock CVO mufflers I’m going to run for the trip. Do I have to load a new map or will it run well with the stock CVO mufflers on current tune. Thanks!

I'd be shocked if just swapping the Rineharts for the compliant CVO muffs could do any harm, so the only way to check performance is to try them out before your trip...my guess is they are fine with your configs...now if you had your tune with restrictive mufflers and threw some wide open core muffs with larger baffles, low end torque loss could be a different story

If you bought the Power Vision from FM just fill out the form for a tune request at the FM site. Rineharts are pretty open (loud) mufflers compared to a stock CVO muffler. Your bike will run better with a revised tune.

Contact FM and ask them for a tune if you bought your PV from them, that’s what you paid for!

At the very, very least…run a couple auto tune sessions on it.

I would just run a couple auto-tune sessions save the old tune don't modify it flash your new tune and enjoy
