Default 4" CVO Muffler install

I replaced my stock street glide mufflers with the stock CVO Mufflers and gutted out my cat and the bike runs fine. I was wondering if I change to the ventilator would I have to remap? Anyone done this mod?

Two weeks ago i did the same thing, i gutted the cat (trapdoor method) installed a set of 10 CVO muffs(110 cid). Have had no issues. Interested in hearing the responses. I do believe all i have heard that a download or tuner would be required to mod the aircleaner. sounds great not to loud, feels as though throttle response is better and revs quicker. now trying to decide on a tuner maybe pcV or vision, maybe sert.

Yes, You will be running very lean if you install any high flow air cleaner. I'd plan on getting a map download or a dyno tune if you do anything with your intake.

Thanks for the response. Someone said that you could change one of the two (slip on's or air cleaner) without doing a remap so I was thinking since the cvo mufflers are stock that maybe I would not need to remap.

I dont see why you would need to remap just because you gutted the headpipe. Your saying your running stock cvo mufflers (just as restrictive as any stock muffler) headpipe wtih no cat and stock air filter? You dont have to do anything. Your running stock slipons and a stock air filter. I just bought some 2012 cvo mufflers and got some full sac 2" baffles. Plan on pulling stock baffles and installing them.
