My bike threw a code yesterday…it didn’t want to turn over and after a few times it finally started…I looked the code up and it’s is intermittent power loss…any idea why this would be happening?…I took it to the dealer but they haven’t got back to me and the wait is killing me!

 

Tighten the battery cables.

 

And make sure to check the ground to frame bolt...

I had one loosen on my old softail and caused the same issue...

 

A one-post-*****. No mention of what model of motorcycle neither...

But yeah, I had an issue with my clock always resetting on cold restarts. The ground bolts to frame were very loose on mine! My bike is a softail--no idea what the OP is.. -_-

 

what year softail im having a similar issue with mine resetting the clock but it isnt all the time.
