TPMS on RoadKing in 2019?
Does anyone know if any 2019 Road King models had TPMS from the factory? I would presume if any Road Kings had TPMS in 2017 the they would roll forward also.
I was wondering if it just a process to turn on the Harley TPMS in the ECM/BCM on my 2019 FLHTP. I do not have, nor desire a radio for my bike. But the TPMS icon is present on the dash.

Optional RDRS (including TPMS) was first available in 2020 on Road King and the rest of the touring line up. It is my understanding that TPMS may have been available on some previous touring models, but I don’t think it was on the Road King as far as I know.
RDRS cannot be added after the fact as it is integrated (I believe) with the BCM and/or the ECM as well.
There are some aftermarket TPMS systems (FOBUS being one) that are available.

Just spotted these OE wheel sensors for TPMS, but it says 2020 and up.

It is not required to have RDRS to have TPMS... it's just a way of "guessing" it has the right BCM in the bike. But what is required is a way of displaying the TPMS, like a head unit, and both the GT and the GTS are capable of that. Any of the touring bikes with a fairing and security (models without the security used a different BCM) and a GT or GTS head unit from 2014 thru current date can display the TPMS, if you have the sensors installed in the tires, and have the TPMS enabled in the BCM. BUT on 2014 thru 2016 you would also have to switch your BCM to the replacement BCM which is a #41000341x, during those years only the CVO's had that BCM (41000341x).
Starting in 2017 HD started using the 41000341x BCM in all the touring bikes with fairings and security (and some other models), but the TPMS was disabled in the BCM, except on the CVO's, and there was no sensors installed in the tires. So to get TPMS on those bikes for 2017 thru 2019 bikes all you have to do is install the sensors and have the TPMS settings enabled in the BCM and the the TPMS would display on the GT or GTS head unit. But none of those, 2014 thru 2018 would display it in the gauge cluster (scrolling thru the speedometer's trip screens) because the factory gauge themselves were not capable... but you could change out their factory gauges with P&A gauges and then you would also have the TPMS display on the speedometer.
2019 bike's were a mixed bag as far as the gauge display goes, meaning later 2019 built bikes could display TPMS, while earlier built bikes needed a firmware update done to the gauges to get them capable of showing the TPMS, and finding a dealer to get the firmware update done was/is even harder... but again you would still have the TPMS displaying on the GT or GTS head unit.
2020 Road King Specials show they have TPMS, but I have never messed with the TPMS on a Road King so I don't know the in and outs of them. If their gauge situation is the same as the touring bikes with a fairing, then a 2019 Road King you might have the same issue, whereas the BCM is capable if you installed the sensors but the gauge may not be able to display the TPMS... and there's no head unit to display the TPMS on. First thing would be to check if the BCM in the bike and see if its a 41000341x.
Encouraging though is that you say "on my 2019 FLHTP. I do not have, nor desire a radio for my bike. But the TPMS icon is present on the dash".... IF you are saying that your tach has the low tire dummy light, then check your BCM's part number and see if it has the 41000341x BCM in it (x would be a C, D, E, whatever are fine). Also, does your bike have a security FOB? Because I think your gauges are capable of displaying TPMS, if I understand your comment correctly, and if you have that BCM, I am pretty sure all you would have to do is is install the HD TPMS sensor's in your tires and have the BCM programmed to have TPMS displayed on your trip screens on the speedometer. You will need to get some one to do the BCM programming to enable TPMS, pair the sensors to the BCM, and enable TPMS in gauge cluster (IC)... One other side note, some of the 2019's gauges required a firmware update to be able to display the TPMS, I don't know if your bike would also require that or not, might be smart to check with your dealer and see if they know about that and how to do it. It would also be handy to know what size valve stem holes your wheels have, because the HD TPMS valve stems/sensors fit the 8.3mm valve stem holes... however, my 2016 RGU had the 11.4mm holes, and with a 50cent modification, they fit fine and I had zero issues with it for several years before trading that bike in on a new one.
