Default Classic motorcycle insurance

I guess not all motorcycle insurance companies offer cheap Classic Bike insurance? I don't have one yet, but was thinking about getting something from the 60s or 70s, but I wouldn't ride it much and wouldn't want to pay much for insurance.

Could be a Honda CB or a Kawi or a Harley or something British. They are what I grew up on, and I wish I still had a couple that I sold back in the 80s.

I use Progressive for all of my bikes, agreed upon value is the way to go for Vintage machines. Progressive has been nothing but fair to me, I would recommend. I pay less for all of my bikes, full coverage, then others I know for one bike.

Yeah, I have progressive on my 3 Harleys (modern), and they've been good to me. But I've been reading about their extreme liberal politics, and it turns me off a bit

Anything "classic or vintage" will want Agreed Value--as mentioned above. The older the bike, the wider the valuation. We can help complete the underwriting requirements prior to ever needing the policy.

We are partnered with multiple companies that write Agreed Value policies--25+ to 30+ and older is the usual requirement.

Try Hagerty..
I get declared value on my 72 ss el camino and my 58 BSA.
Your price is based on the value YOU set on your vehicle,
They only charge you once for liability no matter how many vehicles you have on the policy.
Why can't all insurance companies do this?

Because almost all of them want to play their own game with their own rules.

Anyway, there are a lot of insurance agencies online, which can help with signing up specific papers, like this one ( https://www.americaninsurance.com/be...nsurance-quote ). I've been using it for making an insurance for my car, but it also can be helpful with all other types of insurance.

i had nationwide in north carolina that doubled when i moved back to new hampshire. i switched to gieco the car insurance was cut by more than half and my bike is 99.00 dollars a year. this is for liability only on both. one problem i keep running into with the bike is getting road side assistance on a 20 year old bike.
