My current bike VN900 costs $222/year with full coverage and a $250 deductible with progressive. They're quoting me $1109/year for a 2015 street glide special.

Coverage includes bodily & property damage, uninsured motorist coverage, medical, comprehensive coverage, full collision coverage, accessory coverage up to $3000, and roadside assistance. The collision coverage alone is like $700/year!

This coverage presumably includes my multi-year discount as well as my clean driver discount (I've never been down, never dropped a bike, so no claims). Seems absurdly expensive since I cover three other vehicles with Progressive for less. I would have guessed the comprehensive cost would be higher since there's an increased risk or theft or vandalism. Might have to shop around, but I'd hate to lose my 5 years with the same provider.
