Default Dairyland Cycle Insurance...anyone have it?

We currently have Progressive insurance but got a quote from the HD dealership we're buying the new bike from. Dairyland Cycle Insurance. In comparing the 2 policies, equal coverage, it's over $200 cheaper than progressive.

I've never heard of it and was wondering if anyone here has it and has had any claims with it.

TIA

Stay far away from them. Had them a while back way over priced. Went with Allstate and pay 165.00 a year full coverage compaired to Dairylands 1100.00 for same coverage.

My Dairyland is less then 300 dollars on two bikes for a year. High deductible but full coverage with no medical.

My situation was the exact opposite. HD set me up w/Dairyland when I bought my bike. After a year I started checking around and Progressive was a lot less for the same or better coverage. I've never had to file a claim with either so, I can only comment on premium prices.

There's also some discussion in the Insurance part of this site. Just do a search and I think that there are reviews there.

I've had Dairyland for the last 5 years...every year I have the broker at the dealership compare policies and Dairyland has always been the best bang for the buck...for me anyway. I've never had to file a claim so I don't know how good they are in that respect...hopefully I'll never have to find out.

I have Dairyland and they replaced a bike 3 months into having them. Wasn't a problem. They were about 200+ cheaper on the 3 bikes that I have.

Default Great Prices

I have had them for the last three years. Much cheaper than all companies I have checked with. Almost half the price of Harley's new insurance through Progressive. Definitely worth getting a quote.
