It's time to let my T250 go. I bought it new in 1971 and it is in excellent condition. Runs well. New tires, battery, and top end rebuilt at 24,000 miles. Has 24,303 miles on it.No rust. In 1979 it received a small dent in the left side of the tank. I didn't pop it out. I have it listed for $2700 on ebay, but will let it go to members/friends for $2000. Shipping is on you. PM me for more pics. Tell your collector friends, I'd appreciate it.
The first bike I saw 100 mph (indicated! ) was a T20 X6 Hustler. Ok, it took a while to get there, and there may have been a slight tailwind.
The funny part, long before the California Highway Patrol had radar, I was in a full tuck and blew by a CHP cruiser going the opposite direction. His eyes got big, but he never turned around. The old days!
Btw, I owned a 250 T10 for a year or so. Dad brought it brand new. Nice bike!

You beat me too it ... I was just going to mention the X-6 Hustler ... Kid I grew up with had one ... Maybe an "Idea Platform" for the Kawasaki H2 Mach IV in days to come ???

Had a riding buddy in the late '60s with one, was hard to believe it was only a 250cc. Stock Harleys didn't have a chance at the stoplight races. I doubt there's a 250cc today that could keep up with one. Had to keep the rpm pretty high to go fast, wasn't much low end grunt, but that was typical of 2 strokes. I loved riding that thing. My ride at the time was a Honda 305 Superhawk, higher top end, but not as quick despite the bigger motor, both were really popular in the late '60s.
This is nearly identical to my first bike! I outfitted mine with a homemade engine guard, barn door windshield, and soft saddlebags. Toured all over the place on it and was perfectly happy at 55mph although it would cruise 75 struggling a bit on inclines. Sold it years ago looking for bigger and better things and have regretted that ever since. Not easy to find anymore. Money is too tight right now for me to seriously consider this, but I would love to have it. I had more fun on that bike than all my others combined. Guess you can't ever get the first one out of your mind.
