Default 1998 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Professional Build – S&S 124 Super Stock - Documented

1998 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy with a documented S&S 124ci Super Stock engine and a long list of quality custom parts. This is a professionally built machine, not a stock Fat Boy with a bunch of bolt-ons. Flawless cold start and runs like a beast. Not a beginner bike (ha).

The bike has 26,279 miles and I have the S&S certificate of origin, the builder's component sheets, and a recent shop invoice ($3,500).

This bike has huge presence and was properly built for someone who wants a true hot rod Softail. Real money was spent on this professional build and was apparently a show bike for Performance Machine at the time (since the entire PM catalog was thrown at 'er), though I don't have proof of that from the PO.

$8,950 or reasonable offer

Thanks! Yeah, every time I start it, tell myself to keep it forever, but I need to trim my collection.

My buddies think I’m nuts selling it at such a reasonable price, but in the end, a bike is “worth” what someone is willing to pay. 👍🏻

Glad to post here. Much more likely to find guys who know what they’re looking at.

Upload it to YouTube and post the link. I personally won't click on any file I need to download from this site to view.

Man, it is a good thing you are not closer...I would be on that.

You will have no problem finding it a good home, sir.

Best of luck

Thanks man! Getting a lot of activity today. I think I’ve priced it properly based on the traffic today.

Im sure I’ll have seller’s remorse if I let it go. I do k kw that until I’ve come to terms on a transaction, I don’t want anyone hopping on thinking they’ll just do a “quick spin around the block”…even then, I’ll grab a bike and ride with them. 😬

Cash in hand AND we’ve agreed on price, then a ride. Yeah, the thing will blow your hair back, that’s for sure!

It’ll sell to someone who sees what it is (a 100% complete build). I mean, just that motor costs $8,200 today from S&S.

Hate to sell, but need to move it out.
