2007 Sportster 883L
I need to sell my bike... I ended up getting sick and couldnt ride it last year and this year I decided to go back to school
So if any one wants a hardly used bike let me know. (I would say around 400 mile on it)
has the added H-D Smart Security System with Hands Free Fob, chrome solo fender rack and the chrome engine guards.

RE: 2007 Sportster 883L
Forgot the price.
I need to get back at least what I owe on it, I dont want to be paying for a bike I dont have anymore, if that was the case I might as well ride it... if I could get it off the kick stand again [&o]
my loan is as of today at $6822.81
I can also have it painted any color for an even 7K or even a design but price would have to be discust. He is a good friend of mine an offered to do this to help me sell it and get back on my feet again. as long as I can pay for the materials.

This is the bike I've been looking for but a) It's in Albany and would be a long ride back to Arizona and b)I don't want to insult you but it's used and a year old so the most I'd offer would be $5500, maybe $5750. A new black one lists for $7145.

RE: 2007 Sportster 883L
don't sell it, you look good on it!
AZ, that looks like a LOW
they are a few more $$ than a basic bike, like $500 or so
and the bike may list for $7145, but you have to add + + +
the Dyna I wanted was list 11,999, but was 13,300 out the door.
there is supposed to be a company to ship it for $500.
if you could find shipping for $500
and
i think if you offered her $6500, with the added rack/engine guard, you would be in business. have it at your door for less than MSRP.
You don't want anything older than an 07 if your rider is tiny.
the 07 LOW has numerous upgrades (clutch effort, smaller grips, lowered front forks)
hth?

Yes, I knowit is a low. An 08 basic sportster in vivid black is $6695.
An 07 883L in vivid blackis $6995 brand new.An 08 is$7145 in vivid black.
It's a nice bike but it is still a used bike. It has depreciated, especially intoday's market. I'm not saying any of this to disparage the seller or her bike.
Accessories are only worth a fraction of theselling priceas the buyer may or may not want or need them. In this case I don't need the luggage rack and the engine guards. The security system is nice.
There are dealers around here that have plenty of 07 Sportstersthey're willing to sell for MSRP plus tax, nothing else. No freight, prep. So basically I can have a new bike for a bit over what some are asking for aused one, accessories notwithstanding. But again, the buyer my not need or want the accessories.
The price, as in most Harley used bike sales,is tied to the seller's payoff and not reflecting what the market price actually is.
I want to buy a used bike but may buy new because the asking prices for used are just too close to new.
Darkchi, you have a nice bike. I wish you the best and hope you sell it.

AZ Rider, I totally agree...buyers market right now. I just picked up an 883L, 2007, with 500 milkes for a customer to modify. Paid $5,000 CASH for it. Keep looking as the deals are out there.....even my local dealer has one for $5,700NEW with no freight or PDI...great market for buying but really research and find the best price. If you are in a hurry, you may pay too much.............be patient.

If you want to take off the crash bars and rear luggage rack I would be interested in them for my 08. It might help you alittle. kent@1970mach1.net
