Default 2007 Harley FLHX Street Glide –SOLD

ADMIN - PLEASE REMOVE AD POSTING

Selling my beloved toy...
I just don’t seem to have the time to enjoy the bike as much as I had hoped. I’ve put about 2680 miles on the bike – always serviced at Downtown Harley in Tukwila, WA. Bike is located in the Seattle area, Washington. Bike is in perfect condition – heck, it’s barely broken in. I’ve spent far too much on accessories including the 103 Big Bore Kit (no cams)and Sampson Exhaust that were dealer installed at Delivery. Bike also has the Factory HD alarm option. This FLHX is the cast wheels. Color is black pearl. This bike is already lowered from the factory, has the adjustable air ride suspension, Streamliner Pegs, and plenty of chrome already on it. The alarm automatically senses your keyfob and only then allows you to start the bike up. Just under a year left on the factory warranty.

Other chrome and accessories include:

--Hog Tunes stereo speakers and internal amp –
www.hogtunes.com
--Antenna moved to inside fairing
--HD Aileron style grips
--HD Stealth Luggage Rack
--HD medium rear sissy bar – quick detachable
--Taller 6’’ windshield with re-curve. Also includes the 4 inch lowboy windshield that comes with the FLHX stock
--Kuryakyn Ergo Style front crash bar with fold out highway pegs built in
-- Silverstar Headlamp bulb
-- HD Deluxe Saddlebag Liners
-- HD Saddlebag Lid Spoiler Kit with LED lights
-- HD Smoked turn signal lense covers
-- Kuryakyn curved license plate frame – integrated
-- HD Finned Spark Plug and cylinder covers with bar & shield logo
-- HD FLHX Service Manual
-- HD Chrome Windshield trim
-- HD Chrome Headlight Bucket Trim

--HD Chrome cover over regulator
-- 3/4 inch floorboard extensions
-- Mean City Cycles Street Glide custom seat modifications with hospital grade memory foam. Super comfortable!

A bunch of random chrome caps and do-dads as well.

All of these accessories can be easily looked up on the web for more detail and specifics. Most of you already know what they all are.

Some other accessories that I have held off installing since I am evaluating selling are:
1) HD Garage door opener integrated into high beam
2) Chrome front lower fork legs ready to install. New chrome HD logo upper “beer cans” to finish off the chrome look
3) HD Bar & Shield Logo stainless steel gearshift linkage
*These items may or may not be part of the sale depending on if I sell them privately or not

I have clear title in hand for the bike. The bike has never been laid down or left outside anywhere overnight. It’s always found a home in my garage during the evenings. I love the bike, I’d just like to take on a hobby that I have more time to invest in. Plus, it doesn’t help the wife isn’t a fan of me being on a bike period.

Email me for more details, to answer any questions, or to help. As usual with most bike purchases.

I'd love to say that I am super flexible on price... I have it listed locally for 21k, and I know all of you are deal hounds... I'd really like to stay on the side of 20k - is that expecting too much for a bike with this many accessories?

Default RE: 2007 Harley FLHX Street Glide – Blk Pearl – 103 big bore

Not sure what the market is like on the West Coast...probably better than the midwest. Around here the market is fairly soft. Dealers are already knocking $500 off of new 08s and it will likely go to $1000 soon since the showrooms are full (and so are the warehouses). I have seen discounts up to $1500 on big twins so it just depends on inventory levels. All of these factors affect the used bike market. Your price doesn't seem offensive but it will likely have to come down some to move. Best of luck.

guys, how much would a dyno sheet help a big bore bike to sell?
my TC88 made 71/72 at the wheel,
and i really want a BIG motor bike, but i can't make myself pony up the coin.

should cougar pay $100 for a dyno run, just to put HP / TQ #'s on his build?

imagine his # might be bit low due to no cams, but still, i get all excited at big #'s, it make a buyer on the west coast more motivated to buy a high HP/TQ used bike that has no known problems, than to buy a stock bike that may run hot or whatever.

I (personally) don't mind paying MSRP for a lightly used bike, witha ton of goodies on it, like this bike has. he's just on the wrong coast.

Bump for a nice bike. I have seen this one on craigslist here. I have been to Downtown HD MANY times this year
just looking for the "one" that screams my name. Unfortunately its not a Streetglide.

If the rain would leave us alone this bike would go fast.

Goodluck

Yep... I am posted on Craigslist as well...

It's a fantastic bike... and I hope can find a good home. But until it does - I'll still enjoy it between rainstorms.

Hello spring in Seattle!

there ain't no sun in Seattle...our Test Team has a bunch of guys out there, I been calling them to check on the weather, whether or not i could ride it home. 41 degrees and raining for last month.

he said the boeing (?) airplane plant lost a major contract in the area, and that plant paid big money, and supported all the other cottage industries in the area

but yes, I would take some better pictures. against a nice clear background, usually the garage door, or throw a sheet over the stuff in background.

you can't see any of the cool parts you put on, the contrast is so low.

no dyno sheets? how much oomph did the 103 kit add with nothing else?
theres a 103 ci FLHX on the east coast for about $4k more than you want, but they say it is "a lame experiment" because it does not have the right parts to make power.
