1960 Panhead for sale or possible part trade
Nice bike indeed! However I haven't seen a non-stock pan go for his asking price in the last 10 years. He has to find the right buyer who can understand and appreciate the effort put forth on this pan.
Hello Glockmeister, thanks for compliments! Bike is ready to ride anywhere.. Price for bike is $19,500.. Bike including extra set of chrome five star hub wheels and WWW Gangsters - Harley Davidson lift -extra parts is $21,500.. Would like to complete a trade as listed.
Hello Rootro, 5K miles since engine and transmission rebuild. Tires-wheels-chains-brakes under 500 miles. Just changed engine and transmission oil for cooler weather riding about 50 miles ago.
Stock original engine cases 1960 with both halves matching numbers - stock original transmission with matching 1960 numbered case-stock original matching numbered frame (stock factory production numbers in frame, not used for identification) with locking neck and key. Stock original fenders - stock original risers. License plate is current to summer of 2014.
I do have unused brake shoes in original box from Harley Davidson with original paperwork I could include in sale, I was keeping them more as a conversation item. Not certain if seat post is original or not.
I looked at a few original 1960 Panheads when shopping around the country, the nicest I found was located in PA..$32k.. I located this 1960 in Sacremento, CA..Before I bought this I drove to Quincy, Washington for 2003 HD Ultra Classic. Rode trips are for life, well worth it..

panz4ever and kraydog, thank you for compliments! I'm getting to the point where I enjoy working on and cleaning-adjusting as much as riding.
