Hello everyone, I need some input for a trip im planning to do in your state in spring of 2018. Im not coming for a bike week, I just want to do some good riding and see the sights around Rapid City and Mt.Rushmore. Im coming in from Lancaster Pa., Im weighing out if I want to ride out and do the 1850 miles each way or just fly in and rent a bike.

So any places I need to see other than the Mt.Rushmore, Crazy horse, black hills, and I see there is a Air force museum. Some local restaurants, Some local roads.

What time of spring is good to come, without dealing with snow on the roads, and half way decent weather.
