Default Thinking about going to Laconia this year.

Can I get some feedback on the Laconia Bike Rally? Is it fun, how are the roads/scenery? I have been to Daytona , PCB , and Sturgis, just wanting to try somewhere new. Want to go to Vermont and Maine while there also.

The lack of replies may have something to do with the fact that this horse has already been beaten to death...and then some. Try a Forum search as basic as Laconia - I'm betting you will get a satisfying sample. My take-away has been - 50% still like the rally; 50% don't. Evidently local Law Enforcement has been more aggressive than most appreciate. Replies from those who have been to the rally multiple times over many years seem to agree there has been a transition from party to family event. I've never been so my opinion is meaningless. Good luck with your search.

I was hoping someone that had good knowledge of the area could tell me the highlight roads or destinations and good seafood joints and bars to check out. The search's I tried didn't really include that info. I will try again thanks.

I'm not sure if this route would take you unreasonably out of the way, however if you could ride this to and/or from the rally, you would not regret it. Of this, I have personal knowledge. https://northconwaynh.com/kancamagus-highway-nh/

North Conway area is nice ... Be sure to take rain gear ... It's ( usually ) "quite damp" that time of year :>)

DD, I can give you some info---I go every year[Live 1 1/2 away] . We stay in N Conway area with friends when they come for the week, lots of nice roads there. I,ll give you the rt #s and you can get a map at the Meredith Harley Dealer while your there----302--16--2--115--116--153--25--3--and 112 are rides in that area. If your doing a week ,make sure to head to the Maine coast[less than 2 hrs] from Weirs Beach[Laconia] Take either 153 south to 25 to 5 or rt 11 east it will bring you to Saco/ Old Orchard Beach then onto Arundel [Bentleys Saloon] There,s countless rides in the area---the map [free] from the Harley dealer will give you some rides to try. Plenty of seafood in Laconia area and better off in Maine on the coast------pm me when time gets closer and I,ll give you more info
