Sunday and Monday turned out great—- follow Arcs advice— just go and make the best of it— we’re staying in N Conway 4 days and I’ll enjoy no matter the weather —- be with friends enjoying life👍👍🏍🏍
We were also in North Conway (Eastern Slope Inn). It rained a lot this year and got pounded yesterday just south of Alton on my way home. Sunday and Thursday were the only days that we stayed dry.

Heading back to North Conway for another week starting the 24th. I purchased two umbrellas and hope never to need them.
Nice---We stay at the Green Granite Inn just down the road from there--- got Rained out Saturday otherwise the riding was awesome--had a newbie with us!!!!!!-- I did the tour guide thing
We got home Sunday evening without any problems. Overall a great week of riding, you just had to pick your windows, which were many through the week. The weather. Got all of it, heat, cold, clear skies, crazy clouds, heavy rains, usually all in a few hours. Only incident I saw was on the Kanc going east out to Rocky Gorge on Thursday at the hairpin. Looked to be at least a dozen bikes stopped, someone was brushing dirt onto what was maybe oil from primary damage. Hopefully no one was seriously injured.
We hit up a few diners on this trip. Muller's in East Stroudsburg PA, Blue Benn in VT, Flapjack's in Lincoln. All were great. But the standout breakfast was at the Littleton Diner.
We got home last night, 796 miles in four days. Thursday was cool to hot, Friday was nice riding weather. Saturday was a total washout, we did the Jeep thing to the Weirs. Sunday OK, got a little rain/spit in Maine coming back from Iron Tails Saloon, but not enough for rain gear. Monday riding home was cool and cloudy, then southern Connecticut the sun came out. Overall we had a really nice weekend, my buddies house in Manchester was far away but made for lots of extra riding!!! Wife didn't complain and all parties where happy we took the Jeep Saturday during the rain.
The track was the spot on Thursday, no lines you could have demo-ed just about anything. Not sure why so many bars had cover charges, especially the High Octane. The Broken Spoke made a point to say no cover!??!?! Plus I heard they had a line, we pulled right in on Friday no issues, caught Jasmine Cain's show for about an hour. Tower Hill was good as always. One Eyed Jacks was way in the back of the Drive Inn, good bands but odd location. Whatever the other beer tent was called was muddy and sloppy on Saturday, same description for wet t shirt contest. Iron Tail Saloon was a new find for us, cool place wish we could have had the weather for the Saturday burn out contest. Hawg Pen also a good stop as always. Big Catch on Newfound Lake is also now one of over favorites for lunch.
New finds, Kellerhaus for chocolate, the wives were very happy. Shibley's at the Pier in Alton Bay was excellent. The Sole Proprietor in Worchester on the way home was excellent if you like seafood. Back on Lakeside Avenue Mt Washington and the Lake Drive Inn Newfound Lake from The Big Catch front porch Weirs Beach bridge Lakeside Avenue, good size crowd Burn out on the bridge, no LEO interference. You can see the evidence that he was not the first one to do it. In the rain, outside of One Eyed Jacks, built by Led Sled Iron Tails elevated burn out stage, sorry we missed that. From the stage
I make the trip every year. Its about 1.5 hours for me, so no big deal. I have stayed there in the past, but my drinking days are behind me, and we ride regularly up that way all the time. That being said, I do enjoy going up there and crowd watching. I have been going for the past 7 years. My dad used to go in the 80s. Its not the same, but, well, that was a different time too. I went up twice this year, and both times I avoided the rain
