Anyone from east tn going this year? I been thinking about planning on going. It would be nice to ride down with someone else.

October 19 to 22 I was thinking about going and then riding down to key west and back would be a nice ride.

 

A couple buddies and I are going, heading out Monday the 16th.

 

Now I know none of the members here destroy their rear tire in a burnout pit, but just in case your interested, the Iron Horse in Ormond Beach has removed theirs.

The upper deck has been remodeled and expanded over where the pit used to be. More room and no burnt tire smoke.

I think this is a good thing.

Just FYI, with fuel stops and traffic factored in, it’s closer to a 9 hr ride from Daytona to Key West….

 

I was thinking leave Daytona ride to homestead and get a room there then next day ride to key rest look around and back to homestead for the night. Rooms in Key West are out of my budget.

 

I've been doing solo trips this year myself. If you decide to go post your plans. I may be going also and will join up down the road.

We are going as well from Spartanburg, SC area.
Unfortunately we will be trailering down, due to back issues.

Key west will be out for us, but maybe next year we will do the Key West run.

My girlfriend decided to go with me so we are going to trailer to Daytona then ride to Key West. I don't think she could ride that whole trip and going to Daytona from home is all interstate anyway.
